Technical Document Specialist

This position requires a self-driven, well organized Technical Document Specialist who can exercise decision making skills and time management.  This position reports to the Research & Development Department.  This position supports the company’s facility with the responsibilities that are included below.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create letterhead specification sheets and technical documents on our products as well as raw materials
  • Building a technical document database
  • Respond to technical document requests and maintain a log of requests
  • Organization of current documents
  • Genesis 2018 label versions; archive older products
  • Update ingredient master to match Oak Street System
  • Outreach to vendors for additional ingredient information
  • Work with cross functional team to ensure spec process is robust and complete
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong computer skills, including Excel and MS Office
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to effectively communicate and interact when working with cross-functional teams
  • Well organized with the ability to prioritize projects and adapt to changing deadlines
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently
